Who are we?
Hey there!!
As you may already know, my name is Aakash. I’m from Chattisgarh, India and currently live in Bangalore.
I have always been fascinated by travel and the adventure of exploring the unknown. Immersing myself in local cultures, discovering new places, and learning about myself along the way are some of the most rewarding experiences I’ve had. I love the planning, the anticipation, the journey and of course, the actual holiday where new memories, new experiences and new people await me.
My grandmother used to say that people who have moles on their feet are destined to travel. I have two. Hehe!
The first thing I did with my first salary was buy a motorbike because I wanted to have the ability to get around with ease. Very often, I would wake up early in the morning on a weekend and just drive to nearby destinations. By the time my friends and roommates would wake up, I would already be in another city. They used to think I’m crazy!
I started travelling internationally in 2017 and have covered 15 countries so far. I’m proud to say that my passport has already run out of pages, despite COVID.
I like to travel solo or with my wife to destinations that are unexplored. It gives me a chance to avoid crowds and get an unhindered experience of the location, participate in the local culture and interact with the local people.
